A trial lesson at Rijschool Benz takes 60 minutes and costs € 45. We pick you up at home in Den Helder or nearby. If you continue with lessons, you get the € 45 back as a discount on your package. You don't need your theory yet.

Fail your test? Your re-test is free
Every lesson package includes our re-test guarantee worth € 350. If you fail your practical exam, we book your re-test and pay the exam fee.

How much is a trial lesson?
A 60-minute trial lesson costs € 45. If you continue with lessons at Rijschool Benz, you get the € 45 back in full as a discount on your package. So your trial lesson is effectively free.
What happens in a trial lesson?
Your instructor picks you up at home in Den Helder or nearby. You practise steering, braking, the clutch and accelerating. Afterwards you hear roughly how many lessons you need. There is no obligation.
Do I need my theory for the trial lesson?
No. You can take a trial lesson and driving lessons before you have your theory. You do need to pass the theory exam before the practical exam.
Can I start without a trial lesson?
No, we always start with a trial lesson. That way you get honest advice on the number of lessons and choose the package that suits you.
